The Keowee Key Pickleball Club is a rapidly growing, dynamic organization located on Lake Keowee in beautiful Upstate South Carolina. Keowee Key has 8 dedicated lighted state-of-the-art Pickleball courts and 4 dual lined tennis hard courts. These are an exclusive amenity to the community. The vast majority of people at Keowee Key who play Pickleball do so for outdoor recreational fun, exercise and friendly competition.
The mission of the Keowee Key Pickleball Club is to promote the game to residents of Keowee Key and to provide social and competitive Pickleball activities. Our overall purpose is to encourage enjoyment of the sport, camaraderie and sportsmanship through fun and exercise. The sport of Pickleball is a hybrid of badminton, ping pong and tennis. According to the United States of America Pickleball Association, it is the fastest growing sport in North America, and has absolutely nothing to do with pickles. The game is easy to learn and really fun to play. It can be played on a wide variety of levels from casual recreational to very competitive.
